KUMPULAN HAMODAL is an industrial and commercial development company focused on renting industrial and office spaces. Our broad expertise and strong relationships with real estate agents have allowed us to build a varied portfolio mainly in the property development and space letting arena.

From our humble beginnings with 30,000 sq ft, our development pipeline of current space today is in excess of 4,000,000 sq.ft. and includes some of the most ambitious and innovative industrial and office sectors in Peninsular Malaysia.

As a forerunner in the industry, we aim to remain relevant and at the forefront of the property market.

Company history

Founded by Hj Mohd Ali Bin Bawal over 32 years ago, Kumpulan Hamodal started its first venture in Jalan 215, Petaling Jaya, Selangor with only 30,000 sq.ft. of lettable space. At the time, Malaysia was going through rapid economic progress which spurred the massive growth of the property industry, especially in the increasing demand for office & warehouse space. Recognising the potential, our founder took a leap of faith by investing in real estate in the then developing Klang Valley area, especially within the Petaling Jaya district.

Learning from the complications businesses face when forced to operate in different locations for warehouse/storage activity and administrative operations, he foresaw the opportunity and embarked on developing buildings with flattering warehouse concepts as a solution to bridge this missing gap. The earlier developments undertaken by Kumpulan Hamodal were designed to cater to growing SME businesses, which require office suites to be equipped with a full-fledged warehouse/storage facility.

Since then, the company under his guidance has undertaken development projects for various types of custom-made buildings which include office towers, production facilities, warehousing facilities, service centres, showrooms, sports/recreational centres and etc.

Hj Mohd Ali Bin Bawal passed on 1st October 2012, leaving behind a capable management team. Under the stewardship of the new CEO, Al-Meiraj Mohd Ali, Kumpulan Hamodal shall strive to continue the legacy he left behind and remain a forerunner in the industrial space letting arena.
